Victor has once again flown to his normal holiday destination for a few weeks—Bermuda.

SO AT last the Inland Waterways Association has woken up to the shambles that there will be a desperate shortage of money when the Canal & River Trust, or CART, as it will be known, eventually comes into being.

ONE of the slogans used to get people on the towpaths is 'An open air gym'—attempting to get people to use them to get fit.

I JUST wonder how long the new guide that has just been issued for continuous cruisers will remain in force?

SURELY, as many are now pointing out, shouldn’t it  be Canals & Rivers Trust—not Canal & River Trust—there's more than one of each?
