THERE is to be a ministerial meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) that could determine the future of Canal & River Trust.
The meeting will be attended by the major players in the formation of the new charity with the Waterways Minister, Richard Benyon.
An increase
British Waterways is hoping for an increase in the amount that the government will give towards Canal & River Trust and a definite date for its formation.
It may be remembered that it was decided the original starting date of April would not be possible. |
