A TEENAGER has jumped from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on the Llangollen Canal and plunged to her death.
The 19 years old, Amy Wright, is reported to have had an 'angry text message row with boyfriend' before taking this devastating step to end her life last Friday afternoon, Alan Tilbury tells us.
Closed for short period
The waterway and the towpath over the aqueduct was closed for a short period whilst police investigated.
Amy was a twin, living in Rhos near the English-Welsh border, and her body was discovered around 4.15pm.
