In response to Tony Bowyer I agree it does seem to be an omission that community and charitable organisations have not been invited to nominate themselves for election to the CaRT council.

The same is true for tenants of the trust. There may be representation by boating businesses but these are not necessarily operating under the terms of a BW/CaRT lease.

British Waterways keep telling everyone the income from its property portfolio is crucial and significant, so wouldn't it seem to make sense for those tenants to be involved, whether they operate a boating business or not?
