I just thought I would email how much I agree with most of the comments in narrowboatworld, especially the recent NAOB backs Boaters Manifesto comment.
Just to go one stage further how about listing what the present senior management of British Waterways have done successfully and what they have done unsuccessfully over their years of management. Should help the government make its mind up as to whether to pay them any redundancy or not.
Should make interesting reading too.
I firmly believe in starting off the CaRT with a clean slate, and it will succeed on its own merits, and not have any hang-ups from the old untrusted management.
This idea of a bunch of 35 running CaRT with only four proper boat owners is absurd, almost as absurd as selling off all British Waterways machinery and equipment for a mere pittance.
